In the summertime the Germans like to let loose. This is reflected in footwear. Sandles are worn with socks here. If you buy a pair of Birkenstocks, first make sure you have several pairs of socks with which can complement your ensemble.

Are those your feet?!
hm, people seem to think these could be yours; thank God, it's not obvious that these "misshaped feet" (my fiancee) belong to me. Looking forward to seeing you back in Toronto soon - or better still and for sure this December in Konstanz or Wien!
